- Measurable progress over a 3–6 week period
Care within this pathway is protocol-driven and time-bound, with structured review
points to assess response and determine next steps.
Scope Limitations
This pathway does not provide:
- Ongoing or open-ended care
- Multi-system or longitudinal case management
- Long-term monitoring beyond the defined intervention window
Where presentations involve overlapping systems, recurrent relapse, or broader
clinical complexity, progression into an Advanced Clinical Pathway may be recommended.
Clinical Placement
Case-Specific Interventions are recommended following clinical assessment to ensure
appropriateness, safety, and efficiency of care.
If uncertainty exists regarding suitability, the Initial Clinical Pathway provides
the appropriate entry point.
